What is going on with the world?!?!

Within the past month, I've witnessed three people resign from their jobs (a coordinator, a manager, and a director), three people give notice that they will be moving from full-time to "on call" as they go back to school or take a new job, a recent hire quit before she got started, and a coworker's serious relationship just ended. So my question is, when does Amy get hit upside the head by the Universe?
